Cherry picker hire in Essex
Up and over. Cherry picker is the everyday name for a jointed boom that reaches past canopies, gutters and rooflines, whether it drives on wheels, sets up on tracks or arrives on a van, truck or trailer.
Essex stretches from the Thames estuary and Southend seafront to Chelmsford, Colchester and the rural north, with Victorian terraces, new housing and large distribution sheds near the A12 and M25. Coastal and estuary sites bring salt air and exposed ground.
Typical Essex work: Gutters, fascias and roof work on terraces and new builds, and cladding and signage on sheds and retail parks, where up and over reach clears parked cars and yards.
Boom lift is the machine type. Cherry picker is the everyday name, used most accurately for jointed, up-and-over booms; straight telescopic booms are usually just called boom lifts. Scissor and mast lifts go straight up and are never cherry pickers.
