This policy lists every cookie and browser storage item hirealift.co.uk sets, what each is for and how long it lasts.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Local storage and session storage do a similar job inside your browser: local storage stays until you clear it, and session storage is cleared when you close the tab. First-party items are set by this site; third-party items are set by another company's code that runs on it.
2. Strictly necessary
Needed for the basket, checkout, payment and sign-in to work, and to remember your cookie choice. They are set without asking.

4. Analytics and advertising

5. Your choices
- The cookie banner asks before any Google tag loads. Reject keeps them off.
- This site does not yet have a cookie settings page. To change your choice, clear this site's cookies and storage in your browser and the banner will ask again.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies stops the basket and checkout from working.
- To opt out of personalised Google ads, use Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
