How much does boom lift hire cost in Cornwall?

A week's hire starts from £481.60 ex VAT (£577.92 inc VAT), optional damage waiver included, for the Skyjack SJ45 T 15.6m diesel telescopic boom lift. Delivery and collection to your Cornwall postcode is priced before you pay. Every machine page shows its own prices by hire length.

Do you have a depot in Cornwall?

No. Hire a Lift delivers nationwide, so we deliver to sites in Cornwall rather than running a local depot. Enter your site postcode on any machine page to see delivery and any area surcharge before you book.

Do I need a permit to use a boom lift on a road or pavement in Cornwall?

Usually, yes. If the machine will stand on the road or pavement, ask Cornwall Council about a highway permit before your hire, and allow time for it to be granted. On private land, such as a yard, car park or inside a building, the landowner's permission is enough.

Will I get a particular make or model?

Each listing is a size and type of machine, described by working height, reach and power. The make supplied can vary, so check the machine details with us before your hire if a particular model matters. Call 0333 038 4946 with any questions.

Boom lift hire in Cornwall

Height and reach on a self-propelled base. Articulated booms bend up and over obstacles; telescopic booms reach furthest in a straight line from one spot.

Cornwall is a county of granite and slate towns, fishing harbours and steep coastal villages, with Truro at the centre and industrial and tourist sites from the clay country to the far west. Narrow streets and uneven ground are common.

Typical Cornwall work: Roofs, chimneys and stonework on older buildings in tight streets, where a compact base and up and over reach clear walls and parked cars.

Boom lift is the machine type. Cherry picker is the everyday name, used most accurately for jointed, up-and-over booms, so articulated booms are often called cherry pickers and straight telescopic booms are usually just called boom lifts.
