Guaranteed: 47m working height. We supply any equivalent machine that meets the headline spec.
Fewer than three mainstream makers publish a sheet for a machine of this exact class, so we show only the guaranteed figure rather than a thin range.
About this machine
Telescopic booms, often called stick booms, extend in a straight line. They give the greatest height and outreach for the size of the machine, which is why they suit steel erection, tall façades and large sites.
Plan the ground conditions and an exclusion zone under the boom before the machine arrives.
Diesel power and a sturdy chassis suit outdoor sites, rough ground and long shifts away from a charger.
This listing is for the size and power type. The exact make supplied can vary, so check the machine details with us before your hire if a particular model matters.
Good for
- Steel erection and high façades
- Large sites with long reach needs
- Inspection of tall structures

Frequently asked questions
- What licence do I need to operate it?
- Operators should hold an IPAF PAL card for category 3B (mobile boom platforms). We can point you to training if you need it.
- How high can I reach?
- The published working height is 47m (154ft 2in). Working height assumes a person of average height standing on the platform, so leave a margin for tools and fixings.
- Can I use it indoors?
- It is built for outdoor work. Diesel power and a sturdy chassis suit outdoor sites, rough ground and long shifts away from a charger. For indoor work, choose an electric or hybrid machine.
- Is delivery included?
- Yes. Delivery and collection are included in the hire price. Some areas, such as Greater London and Scotland, carry an area surcharge, and the postcode check on this page shows it before you book.
- What does the price include?
- The main price is for a week's hire of the machine at our week rate, inc and ex VAT, with the 2-day price under it. A machine without a week rate shows its 2-day price instead. Optional damage waiver included. Hold your own HiPI? Upload your certificate to remove it. Delivery and collection are included, plus any area surcharge for your postcode, and other hire lengths are priced when you pick your dates.
