Telehandler hire in Manchester

Lift and place loads on site. A telehandler puts pallets onto scaffold, materials onto a roof and deliveries off a lorry, on rough ground where a forklift cannot go.

Manchester has tall Victorian mills and warehouses in Ancoats and the Northern Quarter, many now flats and offices, beside a fast growing city centre skyline. Out of the centre there are industrial estates and terraced streets.

Typical Manchester work: Moving materials around residential and commercial sites where loads go up to scaffold or onto upper floors.

A telehandler is not a MEWP or a cherry picker. It is built to lift materials, not people, so IPAF cards do not cover it and it is not a substitute for an access platform.

Operators need a telehandler qualification, such as a CPCS or NPORS card for telescopic handlers. IPAF cards do not cover telehandlers, and a telehandler is never used to lift people.
