About this machine

Scissor lifts rise vertically on a folding frame, so the base stays put while the deck climbs. That makes them the steady choice for long runs of ceiling, cladding or racking where you want room to spread out materials.

Most have a roll-out deck extension, letting you reach a little beyond the wheels without repositioning.

Running on batteries keeps it quiet with zero exhaust emissions, so it is welcome indoors and on low-emission sites.

Good for

  • Ceiling, lighting and sprinkler installs
  • Cladding and soffit work
  • Warehouse racking and maintenance

Frequently asked questions

What licence do I need to operate it?
Operators should hold an IPAF PAL card for category 3A (mobile vertical platforms). We can point you to training if you need it.
How high can I reach?
The published working height is 18m (59ft 1in), platform height 16m (52ft 6in). Working height assumes a person of average height standing on the platform, so leave a margin for tools and fixings.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. It runs on batteries, so it is quiet with zero exhaust emissions, which makes it welcome indoors and on low-emission sites.
How big and heavy is it?
Stowed, it is 4.88m long, 2.29m wide and 2.49m high, and it weighs 8,900kg. Check doorways, gates, lifts and floor loading against those figures before you book.
Is delivery included?
Delivery and collection are priced for your site postcode. Enter it on this page to see the cost, which is shown before you book.
What does the price include?
The main price is for a week's hire of the machine at our week rate, inc and ex VAT, with the 2-day price under it. A machine without a week rate shows its 2-day price instead. Optional damage waiver included. Hold your own HiPI? Upload your certificate to remove it. Delivery and collection are added for your postcode, and other hire lengths are priced when you pick your dates.
