About this machine
Scissor lifts rise vertically on a folding frame, so the base stays put while the deck climbs. That makes them the steady choice for long runs of ceiling, cladding or racking where you want room to spread out materials.
Most have a roll-out deck extension, letting you reach a little beyond the wheels without repositioning.
Diesel power and a sturdy chassis suit outdoor sites, rough ground and long shifts away from a charger.
Good for
- Ceiling, lighting and sprinkler installs
- Cladding and soffit work
- Warehouse racking and maintenance

Frequently asked questions
- What licence do I need to operate it?
- Operators should hold an IPAF PAL card for category 3A (mobile vertical platforms). We can point you to training if you need it.
- How high can I reach?
- The published working height is 11.75m (38ft 7in), platform height 9.75m (32ft). Its model name gives its platform height in feet, rounded, so it is hired as a 32ft scissor lift. Working height assumes a person of average height standing on the platform, so leave a margin for tools and fixings.
- Can I use it indoors?
- It is built for outdoor work. Diesel power and a sturdy chassis suit outdoor sites, rough ground and long shifts away from a charger. For indoor work, choose an electric or hybrid machine.
- How big and heavy is it?
- Stowed, it is 3.35m long, 1.76m wide and 1.75m high, and it weighs 3,781kg. Check doorways, gates, lifts and floor loading against those figures before you book.
- Is delivery included?
- Delivery and collection are priced for your site postcode. Enter it on this page to see the cost, which is shown before you book.
- What does the price include?
- The main price is for a week's hire of the machine at our week rate, inc and ex VAT, with the 2-day price under it. A machine without a week rate shows its 2-day price instead. Optional damage waiver included. Hold your own HiPI? Upload your certificate to remove it. Delivery and collection are added for your postcode, and other hire lengths are priced when you pick your dates.
